Learn Spoon Carving!

Learn the fundamentals of traditional spoon carving in this hands-on woodworking class led by Shaun O’Kelley. Working with green wood, students will use shave horses and draw knives, along with carving tools and gouges, to shape and refine a functional wooden spoon. Shaun is an enthusiastic hobbyist spoon carver who brings a relaxed, approachable style to the craft. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to work with your hands and enjoy the process.
